Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited (GACL) has announced plans to set up a high-purity hydrogen peroxide manufacturing plant in Gujarat with an estimated investment of ₹67 crore. The board has approved this project to cater to the growing demand from the semiconductor and solar industries, which require high-quality hydrogen peroxide for their manufacturing processes. This initiative aligns with India's broader efforts to strengthen its domestic supply chain for advanced materials and support the expansion of key technology sectors.
